Delete your account or your data

You can do it right here, without installing the app. We email you a code to confirm the account is yours, and the deletion runs 7 days later so you can call it off if you change your mind.

What gets deleted

  • Your accounts, transactions, budgets, goals and debts.
  • Your Mont AI conversations and everything it remembers about you.
  • Your reports, daily briefings and notifications.
  • Any receipts and statements you uploaded.

What we keep, and for how long

Once the deletion runs, we keep no copies of your financial data. The billing records the law requires live with Apple and Google, not with us. Encrypted backups rotate and are overwritten within 30 days.

If you share accounts with a partner, anything that was theirs goes back to their account before yours is erased. We never delete your partner's data.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play so you are not charged again.
